the davy's have both the
worthen's and the
cummard's over to decorate gingerbread houses for family night. this has become a annual thing. the night before
syd and
cheryl stay up making 30 some houses for the kids to come and personalize. everyone is to bring a finger food for dinner, your own batch of frosting and candy. the kids are on a complete sugar high the entire night. the house or the tummy....which ends up more sugar coated??
although
tilley looks like she is decorating, she really just scraped whatever frosting was on her house, into her mouth. she literally ate candy the entire night.
parker and
quincy were really into decorating though. cons got smart and busted a hole in the top of his roof and filled the house with candy. genius!
the frosting hardens like glue. no wonder tills had a tummy ache the next day, and most of the kids were constipated. i would have liked to have the houses set out all of
december, but they didn't last even 24 hours.
