wednesday parker called and told me davy had an extra d-backs ticket. he told me they were taking all the kids, minus the babies. i took parker out of school, and called in quincy's absence. syd supplied red shirts for my kids. we fed them pb&j's and packed a backpack full of snacks. they got the $5 tickets for the posse and had so much fun. i guess where they sat they have a "kids zone." i didn't know there was such a thing. this will be a new tradition each year. it was a nice, almost "free day" for syd, summer and i-which was spent shopping at cvs! after rushing home to finish hand-outs, i enjoyed a great yw in excellence. the theme was "the worth of a soul." we have an amazing bishop, who like always, had amazing stories for the girls. i feel so blessed to serve in the young womens program!
