jones soda

at sunday dinner cam and mele handed out their favorite jones soda, pink and blue in color, for the "drink." we graciously accepted and began to chug. it wasn't until they hinted to us to read the "cool" label, that we realized the significance of the two colors. my mom was the first to notice and shouted out, "they're pregnant!" and tony continued to say over and over again for the remainder of the night, "i cannot believe mele is going to have a baby!" on their custom label was a picture of them holding a sign that said, "i got knocked up!" along with a poem that read:

you'll never guess what's coming,

in just a little while.

something sweet and innocent,

and sure to bring a smile.

a tiny little miracle is coming our way.

please help us celebrate and shout hooray!

they are due sometime in april. my kids have told me every day since then, "mele has a baby in her tummy." just in case i've forgotten. i seriously cannot wait. and thank you to everyone for suggesting to parker and i that, "it's time." we've taken it into careful consideration, and strongly feel that it's not. our hands are more than full for the time being. it will be fun to have a little cousin on the gruninger side though, and we do however feel that there may be another one....or two if you're asking parker. congrats cam & mele!
