quincy was loving the perks of being star student for the week. she told me every day how she got to be the "line leader," yet another day. i had thought for sure pink would be the color of choice for her poster, but white it was. she decided on her entire name, vs. just her first. her favorite part was going through pictures with me, and picking her favorite ones. mom's favorite part was her giggling after each answer while being "interviewed." being star student for 5 days was too good to be true, she really didn't think it would end. until wednesday (her first day back) when i picked her up she said in a sad voice, "mom now rylee w. is the star student and line leader." apparently she didn't understand that when she brought her poster home on friday, that meant her show was over.
