the reason...

...why we went to az. this handsome young man was getting baptized. in 4 months, my handsome young man will turn 8, and get baptized. he wanted and needed to be there. i am so proud of all my nieces and nephews that have made the decision to be baptized. it's the first big decision you make in life. they are all such great cousins and examples to my kids. and i couldn't be a more proud as an aunt. thank you tug for being the sweetest boy. these 3 little girls have such a blast together. it was so fun reuniting all the cousins. the one thing my kids talk about in az is their cousins, and how much they miss them all. both sides. they always have so much fun together. it's so fun to watch them grow up together.tilley couldn't have been more excited to see "bee bee." when we got to my mom's (@ 3:05am) my mom had the kids bed made in the living room...and on the door to the office hung a picture of tilley holding phoebe, when phoebe was in utah visiting. tilley wasn't tired at all. she stared at the picture and kept asking me "where bee bee." she also learned that all the "crew" her age on the cummard side and the cousins her age on the nagai side had been or are in the process of being potty trained. coincidentally i ran out of diapers on the last day there, and decided i would use one of pheobes for the night, and a couple on the way home...but that would be the end to diapers. phoebe and tilley had their first pedicures. it was so cute. phoebe sat on mine and mele's lap and watched the girls scrub, cut, file, massage and paint our toes. she was so interested and curious. tilley acted as if she didn't care for her nails to be done....until after she had her feet done, she pushed up her sleeves and held out her hands. and for the last day, my mom treated the kids to amazing jakes. and it was....well amazing. we got there around noon, and fed our faces at their amazing buffet. come on, pasta and pizza....and all you can eat of it. the dessert wasn't too bad either. they had all day passes of games and rides. and the place was empty. we did everything they had to offer. the kids ran from ride to ride, and went non stop till 5pm. which is when we decided to get our money's worth, we should have dinner. and we did...and we left sat-is-fied! it was the perfect ending. az we miss you already, but in 3 weeks from today, we'll be back. please don't get any warmer...you were perfect when we were there.
