fishies are gold, water is blue,
conway wants to party with you!
in the pool we'll swim like fishes,
and fulfill all conway's
birthday wishes!
the birthday boy picked toast and hot cocoa for breakfast! and got to use the "special red plate and cup!"
mc donald's was what he chose for lunch! we picked it up on the way to
val vista lakes, and ate before all the party people arrived.
conway has had his first, second and third birthday's all at
vvl. my kids refer to
vvl as
conway's birthday place. the kids
swam from 1pm-5pm. they did not want to leave. it was a great day for
swimming. we had
fish food for snacks (gummy worms and goldfish crackers) and
capri suns to drink.

it is so hard for me to get
mad at this guy. isn't he the
cutest little thing. cons is so
soft spoken, he doesn't ever stop talking, but he has this soft little voice. he is our little
athlete. he is very
protective of both his big and little sister. he
looks up to and
adores his big brother, and is his dad's
shaddow. he is the
night owl of the family, which of course leads to
sleeping in till lunch time. he loves
basketball, you would die if you saw him dribble. he loves riding his
bike and doing anything
outside. he hardly watches any
tv, i don't think he's sat for one entire 30 min. show, unless he's strapped in his
car seat. he is a big
eater, and loves
gum. he has the brownest skin...all year long. and these big hazel-
ish eyes and long lashes, and when they are filled with
tears, my heart literally breaks. he is a
tough little thing, but has a way with softening
every ones heart. i
lovemy little cons and wish him the happiest
3rd birthday ever!

it was super nice in the
water, but too
hot for
cupcakes. i had froze them the night before, hoping it'd keep them cool enough. they were thawed out by the time we even got to the pool. the
frosting was
melted and the fish kept
sliding off. the birthday
candles even melted it was so hot. we
sang and he blew out what was left of them. we found
tilley in the corner, eating the extra cupcakes. she knew she was
busted when we found her.

he opened lots of good
presents. he was really excited when he got to one of my presents that had a
tag on it that matched the
party favors-more excited about the tag than the gift. it was really funny.

after the
party, we took the long drive over to
sprinkles. we figured the kids would get a good nap on the way over....ya right.
cons got a special
birthday cupcake, and loved it.
note:this was my first encounter with the red velvet cupcake. i truly thought i could eat 6. and am very grateful that it is 20+ miles away from home.

after sprinkles it was time for a
luau at the
clouse's for a
birthday/graduation party. more yummy
food, and
dancing. another chance for the kids to run out any last bit of energy they might have. for the finale they had a
fire dancer-which
cons did not like at all. he was in my lap the entire time.
i love him so much!
