painting eggs

every year the kids paint eggs at grandma cheryls. when i was a child i remember dipping the eggs in dye and coloring them that way....grandma does things a little different. she gives the kids their own palate of paint and paint brush, and let's them go at it. a little messy, but the kids seem to enjoy it, and get quite creative. we write their name on each egg with a crayon before they paint on it, so they know which one's are theirs. kalei came with us this year, she had a lot of fun getting dirty at the cummards. parker went to a pirate birthday party for dylan (a friend from school) and was enjoying his pirate gear. all done painting....time for eating! tilley went to town on her hard boiled egg. hope it doesn't upset her stomache.
after painting, the kids went swimming for the second time that day at aunt stephs. let swimming season begin!
