the last day before winter break was patterson's first annual jingle jog. it was before school started. dad, tills and i participated as well. cons caught a ride to preschool...and was really sad he didn't get to be there. we put bells on his shoes anyway.
the kids lined up, 6th graders in front, by class. they announced each line, so that the kids would be staggered and the little ones wouldn't get trampled. we went one time around the school. it was quite cold. so we had otter-pops for a treat after. the kids still enjoyed them.
SGIA sells clipboards that are similar to these...which i love, but can't afford. i decided i'd try to make my own, for teacher gifts. they were quite easy, but not perfected. i added a personal touch (thanks terol with
wall writing) and put "made with love for mrs. so and so, love parker, quincy or conway." free pens and markers (thanks cvs), and they looked so cute. the kids were excited about them, and so was i.
