Yesterday was
Grandma Cheryl's birthday. Parker took
balloons and flowers to her school when he dropped off little P. Something fun to look at while teaching. I missed breakfast (that never happens). She needed a
special something for lunch as well. IN-N-OUT burger...
grandma's favorite. I don't eat red meat. Cheese burger-animal style, fries and a shake. The kids got plain cheese burgers with pickles, fries and split a shake. I was famished. The greasy bun, cheese melting over the side and pickles hanging out was
mouthwatering. I took a small bite....then a bigger bite.....then another. So good. Call me a
carnivore.

Birthday's call for a special
birthday dinner. 6pm at Grandma's house. All of her
favorite things. Salmon, red potatoes, salad, bruschetta, oranges & grape punch. She was
showered with gifts, and many "Happy Birthday"
phone calls. She'd answer, "Happy Birthday" instead of "Hello?" Cute idea. We
sang "Happy Birthday" and enjoyed yellow
cupcakes with home made chocolate frosting. Everyone's favorite (I had 2.5). Then the
Birthday Girl was off to a MHS
basketball game. We
love Grandma Cheryl for too many reasons to list. One of the most traditional, honest, spiritual, loving and talented women I know. Hope you had a
wonderful Birthday!
