I took
Tilley to the
Doctor yesterday, after weeks of being fussy (fussy for Tilley-she really doesn't complain much). I thought it was just teeth. Not only did she top the scales at 20 pounds 2 ounces (big girl carseat already?), but we found out she has
double ear infections....for the
fourth time. What the heck. She is 7 months old. Between the other 3 kids, combined they've had 5 (or so I remember). She had to get a
Rocephin shot in the Doctors office, and has to take
Augmentin 2x daily for 10 days ... I hate that she's on
antibiotics AGAIN, but what else is there to do. I take her to get "adjusted" by the
chiropractor (which helps)....but nothing seems to keep them away. Any
suggestions. I'm feeling hopeless. If they aren't gone in a couple weeks, we will be visiting the ENT Dr. for possible
tubes. Again...she is only 7 months old....is this just nuts to anyone else but me?
And I'm ready for
winter to be over. I hate bundling the kids. Shoes and socks. Doing double the laundry. And I'm tired of wiping noses. Call me Debbie Downer....I just love nothing more than being barefoot on a hot
summer day. And I'd prefer rubbing aloe on a
sunburn vs. Aquaphor on a
raw nose.
