On a bright hawaiian Christmas Day!

So, I'm an hour too late....but I really am just now getting home (left the house at 8:30am). Today was my little; yes I love saying that (since she towers over me), sister's birthday! Isn't she gorgeous! My Mom, Dad, Quincy, Tilley and I joined Mele for breakfast at the Farmhouse this morning, before she had to go to work. It was delicious. Then the kids and I made cupcakes at Grandma Karen's today for Mele's Birthday party. My Mom also made the most amazing tree shaped cake, all decked with tinsel and everything. Aloha Kitchen was for dinner, and there were plenty of desserts.

Mele is amazing, and VERY talented. If looks could kill! A few random things about my sis...her middle name: Ekekela-try pronouncing that one! Her name Mele, means Mary in Hawaiian...hence the song, "Mele Kalikimaka." She's always dressed to the hilt-and has great taste in clothes, house decor.....ya pretty much everything. She LOVES chocolate....it could be chocolate cake with chocolate chips and chocolate frosting....never too much chocolate. She NEVER works out-and is just naturally skinny (she got it from her mama). She has moves! She's the best dancer, give the girl a beat and she'll get down. She hates cheese-she's crazy I know. She was a model when she was younger, and was even in a Mervyns add. She bought a bike with her first paycheck-I remember it to a T, I was so jelous! She has the most tender heart and even though she's my little sis, I look up to her in so many ways. She is so spiritual, and has been ever since I can remember. When we were little I would always see her in her room studying the scriptures, I admired that so much. And lastly....she has great taste in men ;) or man? She couldn't have married a better match. We love Cameron and love how good he is to Mele. I love you Mele and hope you had a wonderful Birthday.
