Birthday shopping and a Visit from Santa

Grandma Cheryl takes each grand kid shopping and to dinner for their Birthday. The kids love it. They shop first, and then get to pick where they eat. Usually Grandma wraps it all up and they don't get it till their Birthday, but since Quincy's is in two days and Grandma Cheryl isn't coming to the actual "party," she got to take it all home with her! She got some fun stuff, the girl knows how to shop. She brought home a butterfly dress-up costume with a crown and wand that go with it. Play dough, and a princess ball. They dined at McDonald's.
While Quincy was shopping, I took the other 3 and met some cousins at a little boutique called Junky Trunk. They had arranged for Santa to fly down from the North Pole in his helicopter, to make sure all the boys and girls are being nice! It was truly magical! The kids were in complete awe as they watched Santa fly the plane, and land right before their eyes. The looks on their faces as he got closer were priceless. Since we were "VIP" we got to be one of the firsts to sit on Santa's lap and get a prize from his sack! The cutest idea ever-thanks Audry and Kadence-owners of Junky Trunk!
Parker loved it, he's really into Santa this year. He thought one of Santa's Elf's was going to fly him here, he didn't realize that Santa was actually flying the plane himself! Which of course makes him even cooler! Quincy is as well, and was very sad when she found out that we saw him without her :( Conway is so funny, the confused look on his face says it all, he's not quite sure who this Santa guy is, or why we throw him on his lap every time we see him....but the other kids do it, so he goes with the flow. Tilley without fail gets a good grip on Santa's beard every time she gets placed for a picture.
