Ok, so I recently signed up for a little competition with a group of girls. It's called "The Biggest Loser." Obviously, since I just (not really, she's almost 4 months!) had a baby, I have some extra pounds I need to ditch. So anyway, a friend of mine mentioned this contest she was doing with a bunch of girls in her neighborhood.....contest?!?! I'm in! We pay $10 at each weigh in, and weigh in is every Monday at 9am. This past weigh in was brutal.....I didn't even want to look. NOBODY
see's your weight, except the lady that does all the book-keeping....thank goodness! So since I already needed to lose the weight, I thought why not make some money while doing it(yes $$$ is motivating!). There's 25 girls in the group, so at every weigh in, there's 9 winners. 3 first place, 3 second and 3 third. The winners are determined by what percentage of weight you lose. The first place winners get $40!!! 2
nd-$20, 3rd-10. ANYWAY, so far so good....I've been eating good and working out......but I've been cranky as hell. Don't mess with a girl on a diet....for the first few days anyway. I've cut out white flour and white sugar, and it's been killer. I "start" this diet at least 20 times a year. START is the key word. It never lasts
cus I run out of things to eat.
So this post is mostly for those of you who might have some ideas for meals or tasty snacks that you'd like to share! I'm begging you.....otherwise this will be 11 weeks of pure YOU KNOW WHAT! If you know me, or any of the
Cummard boys OR girls.....we're quite competitive. I HAVE TO WIN!!!
PS....I'm still contemplating posting my weekly results....that might be ugly. I need to invest in a scale, so that come Sunday I KNOW what extreme measures I need to go to ;) I'm just afraid I might become obsessive compulsive with weighing myself.
