early birthday celebration

since parkers birthday falls in the summer time, he was able to take snacks to share with his friends on one of the last days of school...he chose twinkies & chocolate milk. i went with the kids 30 min. before school was out and he passed them out to his friends. they sung a special "make a cake" and the "happy birthday" song to him, and gave him a birthday card. i remember hating my summer birthday durring my elementry school years, so this is a fun way for him to get to have a little early celebration till the real thing get's here july 3rd!
