my little d-backs

parker decided to sign up parker & quincy for co-ed t-ball this season. the kids had so much fun....some days were funner than others. they made lots of new friends, and developed lots of new skills. i was really proud of them, for finishing out the season...even when they had games right after school, and were too tired to play. quincy has a little bit of a dis-advantage while trying to bat, but did so well. it was one of her many trials she will come about, and conquered like a champ! she is the social butterfly, and had her occasional fits when she had reached her limits. one game we couldn't find quincy anywhere, she had walked to the end of the park with some of the older girls, and they were playing with a dog. only quincy....our dog whisperer.parker was one of the older boys on the team, and sure did dominate. he played all positions, and was awesome at them. he was quite the little slugger too. everyone knew when p was up to bat they needed to back it up! he had just as much fun sitting in the batting order as he did while playing. he is always the life of the party, and we love that about him!we had fun going to all the games and practices, and were thankful to those other family members that came to support as well. we finished off the season with dinner at peter piper pizza and later in the week had a party at the park with the team. they received trophies and giant cupcakes. it was a happy ending to an amazing t-ball season!
