conway was star student as well as birthday boy for preschool. his choice of birthday snack was donuts and gatorade's. orange in color of course. his favorite color, and also the color of basketballs...which he loves. he took his light saber for show n' tell as well.
next up was birthday shopping with grandma. we met at the usual...target. conway had picked out a dvd that he was dead set on getting. luckily grandma called to verify we didn't already own...which we did. i hinted that the sports isle may be her best bet. sure enough, he was the balls, and the color orange, and was sold! they then dined at conways favorite...chick-fil-a!
and the annual birthday party at val vista lakes. i got smart this year and arrived at 8am, to set up and reserve our party spot. by 9:30am, the party people started to show up and it was officially a party! i didn't go all out this year, so it was a simple basketball party, with lots of orange treats. we had pizza for lunch and then had basketball cupcakes. the kids favorite thing was the blow up basketballs i had...maybe parker had more fun with them, then the kids. we sang and opened presents, and then retired at around 2pm. good thing grandma lives close, cus a much needed nap was up next. i cannot believe conway is 4! i know all us mom's say it, but they grow up so dang fast. he is still my baby boy! he's the sweetest thing, if you know him, i don't have to convince you of that. he has everyone's heart! we love our cons!
