dirty

after you have your 4th kid, you'll stop worrying about how dirty they get. trust me. the best part of being at the cabin is letting them get dirty and not worrying about it. although mud is not my favorite. they had lots of dirt wars. i love hearing parker's mom say, "their dad's did the same thing when they were little....to almost everything they did. almost. 14 days straight at the cabin...and i was ready to come home (although my record is 17!). it is so relaxing there, and the weather (i know i keep mentioning it) was perfect. the weeks were long without our husbands, but they had each other, and so did us mom's. parker stayed in town at davy's house...the two of them slept way better under one roof than two different ones. we will miss being there, letting the kids go on adventures and only seeing them for meal times. till labor day...
